20 Feb 2016 - The memorial wall is in place, and the official unveiling ceremony - click here for pictures
26 Jan 2016 - John Austin Ltd have used their machines to level out the ground.
3 Dec 2015 - Concrete poured for memorial wall base.
3 Nov 2015 - John Austin Ltd have sprayed the grass. Once it has died back, work can begin on levelling out the ground.
27 Oct 2015 - The boxing has been put in, ready for concrete pour for memorial wall foundation.
15 Oct 2015 - Terry from the RSA measured out the footprint for the memorial wall, and with a handful of helpers dug out the foundations over the weekend. (see some pics on the gallery)
Sept 2015 - CKL Surveyors surveyed and recorded GPS locations for all the pegs. (We will need to remove them to "even out" the ground)
mid Aug 2015 - The 7 granite blocks for the memorial wall have arrived into NZ and are away to the South Island for the engraving.
31 Jul 2015 - Further 3D imaging (after preliminary results analysed), and pegs put in defining the boundaries of each block.
21 Apr 2015 - The area was preliminary 3D imaged.
mid Mar 2015 - Position of memorial wall decided.
4 Mar 2015 - A ground penetrating radar scan done by a company from Auckland.
24 Feb 2015 - Further aerial photographs (better quality camera) taken from a light plane.
22 Feb 2015 - A member of the Hamilton Model Aero Club used his model helicopter to take some aerial photographs for us.
5 Feb 2015 - A public meeting at Te Awamutu RSA to outline goals
Oct 2014 - Surveyor markers replaced with more permanent posts.
27 Sept 2014 - Surveying completed by DOC.
10 Sept 2014 - A meeting at the cemetery of the unofficial committee to discuss plans and direction of project.
